Well, we all are bummed that the Jets have stumbled (obviously). However, they don't have a lock on late season ineptitude. It looks like the Bucs will lose to the Raiders. They started at 9-3 and have lost their last 4 games. Not that it does anything for us Jet fans - but misery does love company.

Amazing that with the playoffs on the line that the Bucs couldn't beat the Raiders (who had nothing to play for). Considering that the Bucs were up in this game and then let the Raiders get back into it (when the Raiders were playing for nothing) is simply unreal.

Don't forget the Broncos too (assuming they lose tonight)

That did look eerily familiar. And just like us, their defense completely collapsed in December.

Remember, there is still hope for this team. With a younger and less turnover prone QB and a smarter head coach, we still have the running game to be a contender again next season.

    Yeah.... thanks guys.

I see your 8-3 collapse and raise you a 9-3 collapse.

Lose 4 straight, two at home. And the young heart of this team, Carnell Williams, returns to form. Great game, already had over 100 total yards and 2 TDs. He's ripping Oakland- and he re-injures the same knee.

You could hear his screams and curses through the TV. It turned my stomach, and the game. Right after that a 67 yard run given up, and INT by Garcia, and a long drive for a FG. Downward spiral. To lose your playoff spot is onething. Losing Carnell, this time forever, is gut wrenching.

I'm sure when the season ends it will be a moot point.....the collapse of the 2008 Jets will already have made it's mark, no matter the failure of other teams.

Dallas and Denver might be joining our party as well depending on results today. Dallas down 27 to 3.

Thats cause Gruden can't coach or motivate.

Sound like a certain head coach in gang green.

Of course, Gruden has a super bowl ring, off a team Tony Dungy built.
