I hate how people say that super mario couldnt fit in a 3-4 scheme. If he is that damn good the scheme wont matter
I've been touting Jay Cutler since forever, but I have to agree with my friend GH ... If Mario Williams is there at #4, I can't even pass on him for Cutler hmy: Bet you never thought you would hear me say that, huh?
i dont ever mix em up but i was curious.... does anybody else ever mix up green hornet with green hurricane?
On the contrary, I know that you especially can recognize unique talent (Bush/Davis this year, Jones last, etc.), and you know that we just can't pass on a player like that when the opportunity presents itself.
I've wanted AJ hawk since the season ended but over the long offseason I'm off his bandwagon and onto Williams's. I think this pick would be a great
Hawk is my vote but as long as it is one of the top 2 Defensive Players I will be a happy camper on draft day
Kimo was only signed as a stop gap (he's 35), and the other guy they're going to try at NT. Pope is really nothing special, though he may develop. You absolutely take Williams if he's there. With him and Ellis as the bookend DE's, any decent NT will look like a pro-bowler.
I went with Hawk. Unfortunately I think Williams will be gone by time we choose. Unless we do that trade with the Saints.
Why? They already have 2 young, talented DE's in Grant and Smith while they have a 4,000 year old LT in Gandy and a terrible LB core where both Hawk and Ferguson would benefit them much more.
