    Notable Front Office/Coaching Staff Changes
    Mike Tannenbaum fired
    Rex Ryan retained
Tony Sparano fired as Offensive Coordinator
Marc Ross(Director of College Scouting of the New York Giants hired as GM)
Norv Turner hired as Offensive Coordinator

    Notable Cuts/Walks
    Bart Scott
    Calvin Pace
    Jason Smith
    Eric Smith
    Brandon Moore

    Trades
Jets trade Tim Tebow to the Jacksonville Jaguars for a 5th Round Draft Pick and conditional 2014 6th Round Pick

    Notable Re-Signings/Signings
    Darrelle Revis- restructures contracts
    Dustin Keller
Calvin Pace- 1 year deal 1-2 down player
    Ricky Sapp
    Jason Smith
    Aaron Berry
    Matt Slauson
    Josh Mauga
    Laron Landry
    Braylon Edwards
    Seyi Ajirotutu- from Chargers
    Shaun Philips- from Chargers
Stevie Brown- from Giants, will start here instead of back up Rolle/Phillips
    Matt Moore- from Dolphins

NFL Draft- Picking 15th in 1st Round
Round 1- Ezekial Ansah 6'5 270 DE BYU- This team needs a pass rusher and this kid has JPP and Aldon Smith like potential. He'd need to drop 5-10 pounds to fit in the 3-4 scheme as an OLB but he's just a freak athlete and will play the role Aldon Smith did his rookie year with San Francisco.

Round 2- Robert Woods 6'1 190 WR USC- We go WR in round 2 like last year but this time we add someone to potentially replace Holmes. Woods is dynamic he can play outside the numbers and in the slot. Similar to Victor Cruz and will give Nacho someone to work with this year as we see how the future looks. For a team that lacks a true playmaker getting Woods in the 2nd us a steal

Round 3- Gabe Jackson 6'4 320 OG Mississippi St.- Jackson is a mauler, somewhat raw but great potential. Very agile and strong will fit in either a MBS or ZBS. He's an excellent run blocker which is what we need inside and holds his own in pass protection and should only get better with pro coaching

Round 4- Marcus Lattimore 6'0 220 RB South Carolina- Now Lattimore has a ton of question marks the biggest being can he stay healthy which leads to where he gets drafted. He may go undrafted but if he can get in some workouts leading to the draft he could go 2nd or 3rd round but the 4th which is the start of day 3 is where I see him getting picked. If he comes back healthy and full strength imagine the things he'll do for our team next year. Just imagine.

Round 5(Jacksonville)- Zeke Motta 6'2 S 215 Notre Dame- I like this kid as a safety prospect. He's not on Harrison Smith's level as a prospect but he sees things before they happen on the field. With Landry being the attacker at safety, and us signing Stevie Brown from the Giants. Motta will be the conservative signal caller and will develop into a bigger, more athletic version of Jim Leonard.

Round 5- Josh Boyd DL Mississippi St.- We need some D-Line depth and adding another young guy to our core of QC, Mo and Kenrick will be great for the future. Boyd is a jack of all trades D-Linemen does it all pretty good but nothing elite or great.

Round 6- Zach Sudfeld 6'6 250 TE Nevada- I like this kid. He can run, block, catch pretty do it all. He reminds me of Jason Witten a little bit just not as quick and not as great hands. But he has great size and ability and would be a nice developmental guy

Round 7- Zach Line 6'1 230 FB SMU- fullback of SMU, straight beast at FB. Late round steal for a team like us everything Conner wasn't and everything we need at FB.

    Notable Undrafted Free Agents
Michael Mauti ILB- From linebacker U, hurt this year and killed his stock solid pick up after the draft and slides in to that 4th ILB role behind Mauga and a fixture on special teams

    New York Jets 2013 Roster

    GM- Marc Ross
    Head Coach- Rex Ryan
    Offensive Coordinator- Norv Turner
    Defensive Coordinator- Mike Pettine
Special Teams Coach- Mike Westoff- 1 last go around

    QB- Mark Sanchez/Matt Moore/Greg McElroy
    RB- Bilal Powell/Marcus Lattimore/Joe McKnight
    FB- Zach Line
    WR- Stephen Hill/Braylon Edwards/Seyi Ajirotutu
    WR- Santonio Holmes/Robert Woods/Jeremy Kerley/Jordan White
    TE- Dustin Keller/Zach Sudfeld/Jeff Cumberland/Hayden Smith
    LT- D'Brickashaw Ferguson
    LG- Vlad Ducasse/
    C- Nick Mangold/Caleb Schlauderaff
    RG- Matt Slauson/Gabe Jackson
    RT- Austin Howard/Jason Smith

    DE- Quinton Coples/Josh Boyd
    NT- Sione Pouha/Kenrick Ellis/Damon Harrison
    DE- Muhammad Wilkerson/Mike DeVito
    OLB- Shaun Philips/Ricky Sapp/Garrett McIntyre
    ILB- David Harris/Michael Mauti
    ILB- Demario Davis/Josh Mauga
    OLB- Calvin Pace/Ezekial Ansah
    CB- Darrelle Revis/Kyle Wilson/Ellis Lankster
    FS- Laron Landry/Josh Bush
    SS- Stevie Brown/Zeke Motta
    CB- Antonio Cromartie/Aaron Berry

    K- Nick Folk
    P- Robert Malone
    LS- Tanner Purdum
    KR- Joe McKnight
    PR- Jeremy Kerley

I think this is more realistic than my 1st attempt and this team is is extremely talented. I used all our picks did not trade up for anyone and added a reasonable pick via Tebow. Brought back Braylon, added in Philips from SD to rotate with Sapp. Pace will rotate with Ansah. Lattimore will split carries with Boom Boom. The O-Line may struggle but we need to simplify our approach using quick passes and max protection runs. I know we have 7 WR's but injuries hit that position hard for us this year and we can avoid the struggles by having the depth going forward.

We have a ton of youth with this team

    RB Bilal Powell
    RB Marcus Lattimore
    RB Joe McKnight
    FB Zack Line
    WR Robert Woods
    WR Stephen Hill
    WR Jeremy Kerley
    WR Jordan White
    TE Zack Sudfeld
    G Gabe Jackson
    DL Muhammad Wilkerson
    DL Quinton Coples
    DL Kenrick Ellis
    DL Josh Boyd
    LB Demario Davis
    LB Ezekial Ansah
    LB Michael Mauti
    CB Kyle Wilson
    S Zeke Motta

thats a nice group of young guys on rookie deals all should develop into great role players and some into elite players

I really like this draft and all the changes. Really really like the Stevie Brown pick-up, but I think that on the Jets he would be a FS and LaRon a SS next year. I would really like Shaun Phillips too. One player I would like us to get is Andrew Hawkins from the Bengals, really like him.

I would love Lattimore. With AP's return and what they are doing in the medical field he could be a huge pickup.

Arian Foster had a similar injury that kept him undrafted his senior year of college.

Foster was never injured like Lattimore was... That was one of the most brutal hits I've seen.

I would absolutely take a chance on Lattimore and if we do get him in the 3rd or 4th round it is a huge steal. I think he will recover and have a frank gore/willis mcgahee type of career

My first mocked got shat on like no other which means it sucked, this one is getting not much responses so I'm guessing I nailed it

p.s. we need to draft Lattimore and let him heal up. He'll be fine in the long run

man to be honest i would take this and run to the bank....my only thing is I would like to see Nassib or Glennon getting picked up. The bottom line is Mark is not the answer, after next year he needs to go.

This mock is too good to be true lol - Norv as OC (I wish). These moves would make us younger, far more talented and ready to roll

Unless we switch to the 4-3 I would not use a 1st round pick to get a DE like JPP. I would stay away from a RB who has had 2 major injuries to the same knee.

Go with WR in first round that can have immediate impact first year. I like the depth route, I would not sign Keller until we cannot find someone to replace him. Enough with the resigning of injured players. Move forward with youth and health.

Other than that, I like the majority of your scenario.
