Here's my first try. I just couldn't resist. Some may feel that there are too many around this forum, but that's what its all about: Just having a little fun with the offseason, waiting for the draft/free agency to come. This should be pretty realistic and fit well under the cap. So here you go: (No Brian Leonard included :))

    TRADE
    - LT Adrian Jones for a 5-6 round pick

    - Adrian Peterson has always run very well and could end up being a good player. I feel that those 3 RBs can be effective if Pashos/Ramirez or another OG steps up this year. Will be cheap.

    - Pashos is another cheap player that has great size/strength and will help big-time in the running game. Alternatives: Leonard Davis, Langston Walker

    - Yes I know nobody thinks it'll happen. There's really no other options at CB in free agency. With Mangini's Patriot background and New England's reluctance to resign their players, you never know. Hey, we signed Ty Law right? Is he not one of the NFL's highest payed players?

    - This would be ideal. Big guy, great strength, he wants playing time; Oakland has two outstanding DTs in Tommy Kelly and Warren Sapp already.

    - The underachievers are cut: Blaylock, Barlow and McCariens who could be traded somewhere, but we’ll assumer he gets cut.

    - Adrian Jones was pretty solid at LT and I’m sure a young, athletic LT like himself can attract interest from another team in need. He gets traded because of his DUI mainly, which put him out of favor here.

1: Jarvis Moss will be the situational speed rusher this team needs.
2: Robert Meacham: Call it crazy, but I love this guy. The other needs have been addressed in free agency/ 1st round. If one either Coles/Cotchery go down, I don’t like the idea of Brad Smith or Tim Dwight starting. Plus we need a big slot receiver like Meacham.
2: If Dewayne doesn’t work at DE, this is our guy. I think Dewayne will help the run game a lot though if he plays DE.
3: Big run blocker who will compete at either Guard spot.
5: Another NT to work with
6: Big guy whose a solid blocker. Blocked well for Darren McFadden right?
6/7: Anyone goes here. Simonitis was considered a prospect at OG, but went down with an injury this year. Would have been a 4 year starter at a big football program… Went to my high school in PA so this pick may be biased…:)

    Comments/criticism appreciated... Thanks for reading.

    You stole my draft...

And also, there is no way we are possibly getting anything for Adrian Jones. And you said "The DUI will put him out of favour here", well guess where else that will put him out of favor? Every other team. He was already crappy plus he has a DUI under his belt now. We are not getting anything for him.

Okay draft but change the 2nd second round pick DE from Hawaii for TE Martrez Milner from Georgia to pair with Chris Baker for the JETS to expand their offense or FB Brian Leonard. And oh yeah, release Von Olhoffen.

Oh wow I didn't even notice. Yeah we're only a couple picks different.

I figured that another team may take a chance with him since he has great athletic ability for the LT position. Well maybe the other 6th round pick goes for McCareins. And if not, that FS pick doesn't mean a whole lot anyway.

I really like Baker. Oppostie him, Sean Ryan or Posciak make for a good blocking TE. To upgrade the offense, we draft Robert Meachem who has great size, game-breaking ability and is catches the ball well. Brian Leonard is more like a BJ Askew type of player and we need a pure blocker, McClain.

Von Olhoffen sticks around for his veteran leadership. I would have kept Ball instead, but I know how much Mangini likes his leadership and experience in the NFL/3-4 defense. I just thought he'd stay around.

NOTE: Drop the second 6th round pick. It looks like we don't have 2.
