I have the now common problem of owning a Chad Pennington jersey and wanted to replace it with a good player who will be around for a while. I am loving the new kid Lowery, but thats quite a risk at this point lol. Revis - great player, will be on the team a long time imo, but a corner back for a Jersey? ehh Mangold - Great player, will definately be there for a LONG time (probibly the longest on this team at this point) But he is a center.......possibly but well....he is a center. Rhodes - Another great player, will be there for a long time. But a safety for a jersey? ehh Harris - Great player, will be there for a long time, but I don't know. I am not feeling it (Jersey worthy) yet with him. Cotchery - One of our only skill position who we know will be there for a while and have a monster year this year and years to come......A 1st WR? no. A slightly awkward name on a Jersey? yes. L. Washington - our other skill position who would make a great Jersey. Cool guy, amazing player, small but thats what makes him so cool. Will he last long? Not sure, one or two extreme hits on the little guy and his days maybe be cut a bit short. Jenkins - great player, good longevity on the team. Flashy? no. Hear about him during the games a lot? no. The cog that makes the defense go? yes. Favre - good selection because it is the making of history. It is the IT jersey right now. But as for longevity? not a prayer. Coles - umm no. He will most likely find his way back to Pennington in the next year or so. Jones - Wont be around long enough. Stucky - maybe but the jury is still out. My wife has the Chrebet jersey and man you could not go wrong with that one for a LONG time! There are no Chrebet/C. Martin (established, longevity, cool, hear about during games etc..) types of players yet for Jersey selection imo. Or at least it is a tough selection these days. Anyone want to help out with the Jersey selection analysis?
You can Grab a great Favre Jersey made at www.jersey101.com for $38 taxes in. At 38 who gives a *$*% about longevity. I think they have a Gholston one as well.
Rhodes is the most popular here. Then probably Mangold. Harris and Revis haven't caught on just yet, but they will. Leon is a great one.

I just picked up the Rhodes. He is the leader of this team and player hard every down. can't go wrong with him
Why not Cotchery? Coles is a whinny bitch. Cotchery has what? 4 or 5 years on his contract. Will be Favre's number receiver. And you can find them already made so they are cheaper. At least on the Jets Shop.
im torn between revis and rhodes for my home jersey my away is an authentic t jones... but i want a cotch away i think... what u guys think revis or rhodes...
I concur. I have just one jersey I wear on sundays and it is a Chrebet white. Other than that though a tshirt is good enough for me. One guy that nobody mention is Shaun Ellis. Why not? This guy has been a Jet his entire career and probably will remain so. He hasn't been the best Jet ever, but he is solid and wears the green with pride.
I have a Mangold jersey, got it the beginning of last year cause he is one of the best if not the best, prior to Brett on this team. I hope you don't get a Mangold jersey, I have only seen 1 or 2 others with the jersey, I like it that way... Oh, I forgot a center may possibly be the 2nd most important player on the team. OBTW, I also have a Mawae jersey, a C-Mart jersey, a Santana Moss jersey and a John Hall jersey cause he was our only scorer a while ago.
