Sad time for Portland today. Former Blazer Great and NBA player Jerome Kersey died on Wednesday.. He was one of the best loved and nicest players the league has ever produced. A class act who always devoted his time and effort to fans of any team he played for and won a title with the Spurs. Rip City will never forget you!

Very sad, that was a really good Portland team and he was a huge part of it.

Saw that...felt bad. Good guy, fun player. I can still see him slashing towards the hoop on those fast breaks. I rooted for those Portland teams. R.I.P. Jerome

Crazy , not an old guy by any means. Kevin Duckworth died a few years ago and now Kersey... RIP

Every time I glance at this thread title I misread it as Jeremy Kerly for a second. That is all.
