I think the drafts may go RB at 71 and pick Jerious Norwood. He is a fast dual threat RB that has some good upside. Would be a really strong pick with our first third rounder.

BIO: Three-year starter and All-Conference selection since his junior campaign. Senior rushing totals included 191/1,136/6 with 19/96/2 as a pass-catcher. Posted 1,050 rushing yards the prior year.

POSITIVES: Explosive ball carrier also projects to wide receiver. Patient, displays good running vision and finds the openings in the defense. Quick-footed, bounces around piles or gets through the small creases of the defense. Fast enough to beat defenders around the corner and take it the distance. Solid pass-catcher and makes the reception away from his frame.

NEGATIVES: Not a strong back who picks up yardage off initial contact. Must improve his blocking. Does not consistently play to his timed speed.

ANALYSIS: Offering outstanding size/speed numbers, Norwood is a situational back who can also be lined up at wideout. Much better pass-catcher than his numbers would dictate, and offers starting potential.

    PROJECTION: Late Second Round

Third down back. Might be good as a backup. Has little star potential and might be in NFL Europe as the next Little John Flowers.

I'd rather Maurice Drew. I think the pick will be Gocong.
