With all of the positives to take away from yesterday's game it seems like Kerley's contribution was a bit overlooked.

No, 4 catches for 29 yards is not a breakout game by any means, but it's certainly a solid contribution, and he's making the Mason trade look like a very good move. He runs hard, has good speed and looks to have pretty reliable hands so far. For a kid who most people didn't expect to get much playing time this season I'd say he's doing a very respectable job since taking over the #3 spot as a rookie.

I also like the fact that he seems to have a very humble, workman-like presence on the field - kind of reminds me of Cotch.

    Props to Jeremy Kerley!

He had that one beautiful catch and run that was nullified by a penalty.

well he looks like a keeper and hopefully the jets hit paydirt like they did with chrebet.

his body size and movements remind me little of the receivers like terrance mathis or hines ward.

now if we get even a whiff of that kind or production i would say thats paydirt.

He played better than his stats indicated I think. He's definitely becoming a bigger part of the offense.

He's certainly already contributed more than Derrick Mason ever did for us.

I see him as a real bail out receiver. We are known for running plays short of the 1st down but his quickness and elusiveness may actually turn that into an advantage. He gets the much needed YAC that Mason would never have provided.(Not to knock Mason but he's stricly a possession receiver)
