Jeff Smith looked really good. Anyway this guy gets more looks over Braxton down the stretch?

Agreed. Berrios stunk and Smith should take every snap not going to Moore. Though it looks like Smith got injured? We can also save 5 mil releasing Berrios this offseason.

Nah, feed Berrios. We need more dropped passes by short white guys to help our young QB’s confidence.

Yes. I’d release him next year. He’s not worth a 7-8M cap number.

Yeah so crazy that Berrios made 2x more this year than Mike White and Garret Wilson and as much as Sauce. Berrios is not worth the money we will have cap issues next year time to part ways.

I have to say, while he should have made the TD pass, Smith is a little more physical in a bigger target than Berrios. He s doing his job and earns more playing time. Is he a starter ? Obviously, no but he making the most of it.

Wilson seems to like throwing to him that's for sure.

I like Jeff Smith a lot, whenever his number gets called he usually delivers, although it is rare.

I thought he did an outstanding job stepping in at the X when Davis and Mims were both injured, and he is not a classic X. I would like to see him get more reps.

The WR depth is great. Even the 5th and 6th guys are decent players. Sunday was more evidence why he was ahead of MIms on the depth chart. Not that Mims isn't without his faults, but it's just as much or more about what Smith brings, on offense and special teams. Definitely a keeper

Sounds like Corey Davis is back so it's a decent top 4 (Berrios is scaring me though). But decent TE and RB depth should help offset Smith and Mims being out

He's a good 5/6 receiver because he plays ST. We're going to need another WR next year. I'm thinking 1st/2nd round depending on how things shake out. I glanced at the FA market and other than Chark I see no-one appealing at this point.

I'm not sure about needing another WR. I really like the top 3 of Wilson, Moore & Davis with Mims and Smith as depth. Starting to be on the fence about Berrios at his salary, but that's a really good top 5/6 IMO

Davis has to either be released or renegotiated--he's 11mm+ cap in 2023 with 10.5mm cap savings if cut.

Plus he's just not that good--maybe as a 3rd WR IMO.

After we get past Garrett and Elijah I don't see much to make a D fear.

I can live with Mims and Smith as 5 & 6.

Smith looked good because Zach had tunnel vision locked in on him.
