Just heard Mets' radio announcer Howie Rose on with Joe and Evan on WFAN: Fancouer out and in the hospital with swollen thumb suffered making that controversial outfield catch yesterday. He'll at least miss today's game. (I say he puched-out his locker in the clubhouse after hitting into that unassisted triple-play.) Joe Benigno: I guess the only thing left that we haven't seen yet is when Cliff Lee hurls a perfect game against the Mets this afternoon.

Let's review today's Met injury announcements:

    1. Fancouer out with torn ligaments.

    2. Santana out with elbow problems, will consult surgeon tomorrow.

    3. And this just in: Mr. Met with strained hamstring while rounding bases with kids after today's game. He's expected to be out 2 to 4 weeks.
