In my opinion Jay Cutler is the recycled verson of JP Losman, and Kyle Boller and to a lesser extent Joey Harrington.

All three had great arms, played for under the radar teams, (maybe not Harrington) jumped up in the offseason and were taken way higher than they should have been.

As pros, Losman and Boller have sucked and seem like they have a bad attitude.

    Anyone else see similarities here?

Boller could barely complete 50% of his passes when he had one of the best QB coaches in the entire nation. Cutler has completed 60% without any great coach like Tedford. Cutler is a MUCH better prospect than Boller, and I would also say he is a better prospect than Losman.

    finally i hear some sense...

Cutler is better than Leinart IMO. Yes Leinart is a proven winner, etc., Heisman, 2 National Championships...but Leinart played on one of the best offensive side of the ball EVER in college. Cutler had no one. Look at his pro day and combine. He is not a Boller or Losman clone. He played for a tiny little school with NO talent around him and basically won or made games close against some good SEC teams.

    I want this guy!!!

    (look below)

ON draft day if we take him all naysayers will be like "oh the worst mistake since missing marino!!! but he is one good player IMHO.

Wait, the simple fact that he played on a crappy team makes him better than Leinart? And the fact that he did what exactly at the combine seperates him from Boller and Losman??

Boller had an epic pro day...that's why he went so high. Plus he took a so-so Cal team and beat USC.

He didn't bash his teammates. A reporter had asked Leinart what separated him from Cutler, and Leinart replied, "I just win." When a reporter asked Cutler what he thought about Leinart's comment, Cutler responded by saying that he was not surrounded by a team full of All-Americans. While that may not speak highly of his teammates, I doubt his teammates took offense or would disagree with that.

you beat me to that exact response! Yes guys hate cutler because they think he is a boller clone. I disagree; like I stated above, a guy can have one stellar work-out, but two?!! That shows talent. I'm not using he workouts as the proimary basis here. He also made Vanderbilt a lot better than they would've been; he is the perfect mix of Young and Leinart. THe strong arm can handle gusty Meadowlands; the mobility can handle the pressure.

OK, so can you show me a quote where he ripped his teammates?

That was the only instance that I can remember Cutler ever talking about his teammates, and he prequalified his statement by saying "I don't want to throw my teammates under the bus"
