Holy shit 2 shark attacks on a basically the same North Carolina beach within 90 minutes of each other, both kids lose arms, and the girl has significant damage to her leg. They are thinking it was the same shark. It's extremely rare to have a shark attack at all, much less two in and hour and a half. Possibly a rogue shark. Edit: That was dumb. All sharks are rogue, that's why they are SHARKS. _
There has definitely been more attacks this year, and in NC it looks like there have been a few videos of sharks feeding on the shore line. Not sure the cause/reasons, but volume of attacks is not normal for NC beachgoers
