If Leon does not return, do you guys think the Jets would consider drafting late in the 1st early second if we traded out of the first. I think he would bring even more of a dimension to the offense than Leon and would be Mark's new safety valve. Thoughts?
Its an idea but Jahvid has a tendency to be banged up. I really think Leon will be back and with TJ and Greene, he's really not needed. He is a very good player and you make very good points, however I think we should pick for our needs, an edge rusher or maybe a speedy receiver like Golden Tate.
Mr. E has addressed this before, I think. Something about backs from Cal being smallish and in a good position to succeed
I just don't see the Jets drafting a RB/KR in rd 1 or 2, we have too many other needs. From all indications, Leon should return and not skip a beat and TJ will be back for 2010. Bringing in a Slot WR (especially one that can return punts) would add the 'dimension" our offense is lacking.
