OLB Calvin Pace ILB Curtis Lofton ILB David Harris OLB Vernon Gholston If that works out I would be juiced. Also Thomas might still be productive with a new D around him.
Great picks for the Jets Jabba. But I seriously question the Pats taking Mendenhall when they desperately need help at LB and DB... Also I question the fact that you have 4recievers going in round 1. I just don't think they will all go so high, especially the 3 pick run on WR. I really think one of those 5 WR will be around when we pick at #36, we may not take one of them, but I expect somebody to be there for us to take...
Pssing my pants happy if it worked out that way, I really hope we get Gholston, and Lofton would be this seasons Harris
Curtis Lofton would be a sick pick at 36. Here is a nice analysis on him.. it basically implies he's perfect for the ILB or MLB... http://www.nfl.com/combine/profiles/curtis-lofton?id=774
i don't think its gonna shake out like that.i think run dmc gholston and the longs will be gone and we'll either take cromartie or harvey(whose gonna be a beast by the way).then lofton in the 2nd and andre caldwell with one of the fourths
Why not? All the corners and linebackers are reaches at that spot, or don't fit their scheme....or both. So they take a very good running back who provides value and can contribute from day 1.
So are we, but you still seem to think we should take McFadden, because he would be the best player available and not many of the other guys fit our scheme, same reasons I gave for the pats taking Mendenhall
We didn't spend a 1st on a RB in the past 2 years, either. Maroney's only getting better for them and they've got some depth too.
is it just me, but at the begging of the mock draft season I was gonna kill tangini if they didnt pick gholston, but now I am leaning toward mcfadden any thoughts???
NONE TAKEN, in fact I think that's a darn good choice .. love him at 34DE When I had to make that projection, I myself vacilated back and forth between Lofton, Moore and Jerod Mayo
I would politely disagree with the Chiefs taking Matt Ryan. They seem to be happy with Brodie Croyle and realize that a paper-thin OL isn't going to help any QB they have. They specifically played Huard last year, knowing that if they put Croyle back there, he'd get mauled week after week. That tells me they know where their deficiencies lie and would be far more interested in an OL than another QB.
I thought people jumped for joy... but then again, if you don't know Joy, why would you jump for her??? I think you do know Joy, but maybe you meant jumping "out off joy", which means you copulate while watching the 1st 2 rounds of the draft- a commendable feat. :drunk:
