This team has talent but looks oddly confused and are leaving a lot on the table. whatever the reason, they are letting teams outplay them.

Why aren't guys playing as hard as they were last year. Last year everyone was on edge and really giving 110%. Maybe afraid to lose their spots or whatever. But from game one of last year this team was on fire. There was a sense urgency right out of the gate. This year there is no fire. Lackluster performance. I think the leaders of this team, though not in public, need to re-focus and start calling out guys in front of eachother to pull their helmets out of their collective hind parts and start playing some smart football. The fact they are standing behind Chad speaks volumes. They know it's not all him!

Grant it, this years schedule is a bit harder but the execution and focus is not there and needs to comeback in a big way. The JETS shouldn't have lost this game. To be honest, the only game that really was out of reach was the PATS game. Right there there should have been an awakening. All the games from there on were in their hands.

They all need to reckon with eachother and play like it's them against the world. And with everyone sticking up for Chad gives them a reason to come out punching the rest of the season. Something to use as their war cry. A players only meeting can do wonders for a teams' demeanor.

Mangini can only coach the team. He can't make plays. They (the players) have to put the ownous on themselves not only to save face but change the direction this season.

The JETS against the world. Bring on the media and the fans. If not then this team should be dismantled and built up from the ground up. Period. NY doesn't need guys who are gonna give up and Chad, Coles, Vilma, Thomas Jones, Rhodes, Barton, Dyson, Ellis get in guys faces and expect no less then the best. If not then thanks for nothing. I'm tired of watching this lukewarm brand of football!

    Send the messege out....
