How is any team going to stop Holmes, Burris, Mason, Jeri-Kerl and Keller with Greene, LT and Mcknight coming out of the backfield? It's unpossible. Jets win SB. /thread over.
A few days ago, Manish reported that he thought it was a vet minimum deal. If so, it's a great deal for us. I think Mason felt disrespected by the Ravens when they cut him loose to go after Malcom Floyd. In the end, they came out fucked because SD re-signed Floyd and Mason came here. Cotchery to Baltimore seems more likely now.
excellent great job by Rex and Tanny think how rotten we would be feeling if we had peed away two draft picks for Ochostinko
EightFive is actually a very good WR, and he's younger then Mason. He may be an attention whore, but he's never been accused of being a bad teammate and he has a rep of being a hard worker.
Derrick Mason is basically the same receiver without the mouth. The only difference is age. Ocho Cinco wants the ball. Mason will work hard to get other players open. I really like this signing. He's tough as nails over the middle and he catches everything.
I rather have Mason then Ocho. Ocho brings to much drama and just imagine him being here in a NY/NJ media outlet he wouldn't be able to contain himself.
So if anything happens to Sanchez were going to have 41 year old Brunell throwing passes to 37 year old Mason Nice
Except for that time that he punched his position coach. During a playoff game. I like Ochocinco though; I think that he's actually become underrated because his personality is so distracting.
Good choice by Mason. He wants a ring! Remember when Dyson stretched for the endzone? Mason has been close. He wants one final chance. Nobody can complain about 1. Holmes 2. Burress 3. Mason 4. Kerley Not bad.
I know he's getting up there but he had 800 yards last year. Was he hurt or something? Why'd nobody want him?
