It all starts with the DL/OL

In my opinion our biggest issue is we are NOT controlling the line of scrimmage on either side of the ball.

Well, let's start with the D

We can't stop the run and we get very little pressure on the QB. We can't get off the field on 3rd down and give up long time consuming drives. Even against the Bills the D slacked at the end and if the O didn't keep scoring we may have seen a very different outcome

All of this leads to more pressure on an already struggling offense.

Now let's look at the O.

We don't open holes for our RBs and we're not running the ball well. Pass blocking is better than with Hunter in the line up though it's far from consistent and we're letting guys get too close and into the passing lanes. You want to know why Sanchez is inconsistent, it's because the OL is inconsistent. Watching the Texans game, every single lineman got beat at least once. I'm baffled as to what their problem is as I watch other teams plug people in and get things done.

Sure there are other issues but I truly believe it all starts with the lines. We win those battles we win more games. The issues with the DL makes little sense because we really seem to have talent there. The OL has done it before too so not sure why they are struggling so much either but the DL was supposed to be our biggest strength. Either way, both need to step up if we are going to have any success this season.

Again, just my opinion but it really stood out to me watching the game last night.
