I don’t think there are any excuses in the world for the Jets to lose this game. It’s the Patriots first road game with an inferior roster. We’ve been through two Presidential elections and three Presidents since we last beat the Patriots in 2015. Saleh and co also need to make sure they don’t get out coaches. If the initial game plan isn’t working then adjustments are needed.
I’m hoping and praying that they will finally end this streak. Making adjustments has never been our strong point, but I’m hoping today is different. Go Jets!!!
Lol. I'm sick so I took Tussin so I guess. I use Swype and it's a ton of typos and I never remember to spell check.
After hearing our OC state they ony realized Micah was that fast during the game yet they didn't adjust to that, beyond wishful thinking, what makes you think they'll adjust today?
I don’t think they will unfortunately. But they should and need to. And this is a game the franchise needs to win to start the ascent out of the gutter. I am hoping @dawinner127 was right in that they seemingly mailed it in against the Cowboys and spent the week focusing on the Pats.
I haven't seen it mentioned and maybe it has been, but wasn't the plan to play becton at RT until his boo-boo was better and he was fit enough to go back to LT.
If Saleh doesn't play Becton at LT its like a slap in his face--which is fine if you're slapping other guys like Uzomah and Tomlinson by benching them for bad play. Going to be very interesting to see who's suiting up today and who's starting where.
Actually it was his right leg that was hurt and so Becton wanted to play LT--Saleh and company said Brown was the LT and insisted Becton play right--thats my understanding. So Becton always thought he's more qualified to play LT and let it be known.
He’s always played left tackle. If I remember correctly Louisville used to use him in an unbalanced line which is the only time he’d really end up on the right side. I don’t know how the coaches can be that stupid though. They can be very different positions for certain guys. Some guys have no problem flip flopping to either side. It seems like Becton is way more comfortable with his left leg back so I don’t know why they aren’t putting him at LT.
You're probably right. That sounds familiar. I didn't want to dig through hundreds of posts to find it
Part of me wants to put a few hundred in the Patriots. That’s how confident I am that this is going to be a complete disaster.
I'm not feeling good about it either. I still have hope, but I'm expecting a loss. I will gladly eat crow if we win. Sent from my IPhone 43 using Tapatalk V.86
