The Dolphins could be interested in Steve McNair. Now that Titans' general manager Floyd Reese has said the team won't exercise the 3-year option on his contract, the QB is a candidate to be released. Ty Law mentioned that the Dolphins may be interested in the veteran McNair. Found this quote this morning. How does Law have anything to do with this?
Just found the answer to my own question... The Dolphins may not be able to sign CB Ty Law. The Pro Bowl corner isn't going to return to the Jets, and said this week he'd be interested in Miami, who he thinks has a chance to contend. But he also said he's going to command $10 million in guaranteed money. It will depend on the 'Fins' cap situation, and whether or not they make the incumbent Sam Madison a cap-casualty. So successfull too? What the hell did he do here that was so "successful"? He'll be handed a great team, and totally F it up, watch.
i hope he does just that but its going to be a little bit harder for him to do that in kc because he acctually has a competent gm to draft talent.
The Dawlpfinz have a chance to contend? I saw New England's third string toy with Miami's first string. In that same game, I saw Bill Belichick revive a dead play from 60 years ago for a laughs. I saw a rookie quarterback who hasn't started a game in five years just miss tying the game on a two point conversion. I think not.
I filed a formal protest. Pay no attention to what the league tells us - the Dawlpfinz actually finished 6-10, and I've filed my protest to change the record. First, there was something strange about the December Buffalo game. When Sage Rosenfels is allowed to comeback three touchdowns down, someone has rigged something. Second, despite the score, I contend that San Diego actually won its game against Miami, since having Marty Schottenheimer as coach spots any opposing team at least 4 points. Finally, I have flooded the Commissioner's office with mail about New England intentionally throwing their last game of the season, and treating an NFL game like a joke. This game should be recorded as a loss for both teams. I'm confident that my protest will be protest in due course, and the results changed to uphold my early prediction.
Sam madison a cap casualty??? This wouldnt be a bad signing for the right money. Madison miller and barret.
why does everyone think kc is on the brink of a superbowl...they lost two gigantic games back to back against the cowboys and giants, who arent exactly great...theyre qb is a huindred years old with blood clot problems.the o-line although trememndous is getting way long in the tooth and that tight end over there had his worst season in years and is on the decline...lets all relax with the kc rah rah nonsense
and how many SB's did KC win under Vermeil? better yet, how many AFC championships did they get to? KC was barely a Super Bowl contender three years ago when they went 13-3 and were bouced by the Colts, and are even less a SB threat coming up, having not even qualified for the playoffs. anyone who thinks Herm has been given a Super Bowl team needs to watch more football. besides, what does it matter whether Herm has a good team to coach. if he coaches them and they do well, he was the coach and deserves credit. in the NFL, a coach coaches the team he is given. it isn't college where the coach has to build a team and recruit. those are two entirely different dynamics. by your logic any time a new coach is hired the only way he deserves any credit is to get rid of every player on the team and start over from scratch, because if he succeeds with players he didn't bring in the success should be attributed to whoever did bring them in. that is ridiculous.
BYE BYE RICKY, BYE BYE DOLHPINS!!!!! http://www.miami.com/mld/miamiherald/news/13913976.htm?source=rss&channel=miamiherald_news
He needs to go to a team he can win with right now, like NE, because he only has a couple of solid years left.
