When we won last night and advanced to the AFC Championship I was in complete disbelief. Being quite drunk when it happened, I couldn't tell if it was a fantasy. Waking up this morning to see it certainly was not a dream, im still in complete shock. At the start of this season was anyone expecting anything better then 8-8 or 9-7? I certainly wasn't and I was just happy we crawled into the playoffs no matter how we got in. I did not for one second believe with a rookie headcoach and quarterback we would go very far. Its not a knock on Sanchez and Rex, you just have low expectations for them. But holy shit they really stepped up at the right times. Sanchez wasn't spectacular last night but he definetly did a great job managing that football game and that touchdown pass was just fantastic. This weekend, whether we win or lose, this season has been a huge success. The foundation of this franchise has been solidified for the next 10+ years with Rex and Sanchez. I want this game so badly, but even if we lose you can't be disapointed at this season one bit. Looking on to next season I don't see how this team isnt the favorite to win the division or even the conference. Its just so shocking to see this team doing things the right way for once.
