Brick got beat up again. Baker got beat up. Woody got beat up. Moore got beat up. I saw the oline not give Brett chance to throw in pocket. This is where we lost the game in my opinion.

Maybe Ted Cotrell called a good game.

I think the bye week cures everything this year.

It seemed like the Chargers threw a lot of looks at us by mixing up their fronts. Not making excuses for the O-Line because they did look piss-poor. However, I think that Cotrell called a pretty solid game and made our line look a little worse than it is.

Tell you one thing though - Brick may be our starting LT for a lot of years but he is not even in the same stratosphere as the elite LT's of the league. That kid Long on Miami looks like something special.

Farve made them look bad at times.

Yeah, I thought on many occasions Favre had a nice pocket to step into and throw, but he started to dance around and then threw off his back foot. It looks like a lot of it is down to the timing being off at the moment.

I thought on a large majority of the plays that Farve had plenty of time.

He had no pocket presence for the most part. He moves into the rush instead of away from it. He holds the ball to long and refuses to throw it away to avoid a sack. I could go on...

Thought the OL did fine in the first half. After the game became a laugher they got stressed quit a bit. The D knew they were throwing, and came after Favre.

Favre didn't help the situation much either by running around prematurely

I thought this line would be absolutely amazing. This was a terrible performance. Terrible.

The offensive line has been up and down this year. they're generally run blocking fairly well, which is to be expected with the additions of Faneca and Woody, they're also not pass-blocking all that well, which is also to be expected with those additions.

We're all thinking that the Jets need to air the ball out to be successful this season, however there's a counter argument that says that Faneca and the Jet's offensive line is more suited to a grind-em-out kind of game plan at this point. Faneca is not a particularly good pass-blocker at this point in his career and D'Brick has looked very shaky at times also.

I don't know what the Jets should do, but they need to figure this out next week against the Cardinals. 1-3 going into the bye would be the beginning of the Mangini deathwatch.
