With Clemens coming out with this kind of statement........ How many picks will KC throw do you reckon? How many total yards rushing will our elite ground game rack up? Mauling on the cards? The bye week was, well um nice.
We can win this game if we play "Donnie Abraham" Defense (this requires arming most of the defense with high caliber weapons) of course if they shoot like they have been tackling this season, even this defense will fail and more than a few of our beloved flag girls will probably get hit by stray bullets..........God bless them all
They will Rush for about 300 yards. We will Rush for About 30 Final Score will be about 30-3 , Maybe we get 10 fi Leon can run one back. IF anyone thinks we have chance in this one you can pass the pipe your smoking.
This game looks like it's going to be the first time that the Jets get beat from start too finish this season. That, for lack of a better term, sucks. It's one thing to watch a boring yet contested game, which most of the Jets games have been, but if it turns into a blowout this season will get even uglier. And the Cowboys and Pats still loom..
Clemens might throw a pick. Maybe. (The steeler secondary cant catch....) But this team can be beat. If you spread them out wide, and throw the ball 40 odd times.... If you even attempt a running game, (especially the Jets), you are conceding the game.
Nobody has consistently attempted the 4 yard pass against the Steelers. Shot will give it to them over and over again. Death by a million cuts.
throw on first down. throw long in short yardage. four wides. (do we have 4?) 3 INTs and a FR. Chicken pox for Roethlisberger. Combine all of these, maybe we have a chance.
No. Go back and look at the third quarter of the Baltimore game. They let Clemens throw it all over the field. he had completions of 20,23,44,and 50 one of the last two was all throw no run.
Shot used the second string game plan that called for Clemens to be the QB against the Ravens. Now that Clemens is the starter, Shot is letting him run the real offense.
Yes, they can be beat, and we owe it to them to do it soundly, but I'll settle for a last second field goal.
Three words: kick off returns If we run four of those babys back for touchdowns I think we might just win.
Ha Ha , some optimism here. I'm waiting for the 'nothing as dangerous as a wounded animal' factor to kick in.
This really is the type of game that is winnable. Nobody expects us to show up, not even most of our so-called 'fans'. With a young coach, the Steelers could fall prey to overconfidence especially after hearing everyone give them a pass this week. We can do this!
