Time for a little optamism around here

    Discuss

The fact that they even made the Superbowl was a miracle caused by their ridiculous fortuitousness scheduling (cough cough Tebow and completely impotent Ravens)

I think its more and more clear that the Brady-Creepyolddudeincutoffsweats era has come to a close.

Their dynasty ended in 2005. You need to win Championships for there to be a dynasty.

They're still better than us though, so it's not much comfort.

Fun fact: Super Bowls the New England Patriots have won since Spygate: 0. Zero. Nil. Nada. None.

    GPC!

They need Pace or BT to lay the lumber on Brady to start the Brian Hoyer era.

More like Ryan Mallett era. We better hope that they don't have another stud QB waiting in the wings when Brady retires.

if Slo-Mo could do it the first time, anyone can. (I say Slo-Mo because that was the first year he really declined, at his peak obviously a great Jet).

So does this Brady's legacy hurt in any way? He underperformed in two straight super bowls. He was very off on passes past 10-15 yards today. Usually I am scared when Brady gets the ball, but I knew the Giants won once they scored. No doubt. He lost something, at least in my eyes.

I pray that we soon see threads on the Pats boards begging for them to sign Peyton

I think Brady's been playing hurt for months. Accuracy has been a bigger issue than I can remember it being in the past.

I think the Patriots say this every single season since they cheated their way to their last superbowl win like a hundred years ago.

He's always on the injury report, maybe it is true? That would explain a lot of his inaccuracy outside of 5-15 yards

Brady has been overrated for awhile because of the early superbowls thr pats barely won even with the cheating. Maybe people will wake up to the fact that brady isnt in the same league as either manning

It's been over for a while. The titles they won were won on the back of their defense. Since they lost the playmakers on that side of the ball they haven't won a thing.

Brady without Moss there to outjump everyone is a dink and dunk guy. When the Giants scored a TD it was over, because Brady's "heroics" have just been setting up FG attempts, not TDs.
