It's actually a reasonable question. At this point, and losing as impressively as they have, this is on par with ADAM GASE. Meanwhile, Robert Saleh stands there completely stoic. No second half adjustments and the defense is now possibly WORSE than the offense. Joe Douglas spent a lot of money and effort gathering some talent. Robert Saleh simply does not know how to get the most out of his players....
Saleh isn’t going anywhere, solution or not. I want to know if he has the balls to shitcan his friend.
While I am a Saleh fan, asking if he's the right guy after 6 games is ridiculous. Saleh was dealt a tough hand to start his career as a head coach. This game fell away from him really quick when the injuries started piling up. Game planning without Mosley, is tough. Adjusting your gameplan entirely when your starting QB goes down, is even tougher of a task. Today was an embarrassment and horrible scar on Saleh, but it doesn't make or break me either way. He's gonna be here all year and he'll be back next year.
At this point, it's more than a fair question. I've defended both him, Douglas, and LaFleur consistently around here all along, but that's gone after today. Regardless of the level of talent you have, it is completely unacceptable to come out after two weeks off and look like that. Another game like that and someone in the organization has to begin thinking about making a change.
shortchanged And if he doesn't, he should be shitcanned. But honestly if he fired Ulbrick and/or Lafleur he'd only being throwing his accomplices under the bus. He's just as involved in this debacle as his coordinators are.
Couldn't agree more and his demeanor reminds me of Todd Bowles but he is quickly making him look competent.
I agree completely. At this point, I feel exactly the same. The GM and Woody will need to take a close look at the end of the season and ask themselves, "Is this team any better off with Saleh?". Because like I said we could get the same horrid performance from Gase.
It's not just that we are bad, we are embarrassing. We don't look like an NFL team. We have more talent than last year and we're worse. It's perfectly valid to want him fired at this point. The worst thing we could do is let his horrible coaching fester for more time.
HFS, too soon! Terrible loss, terrible D, terrible O, but, for fucks sake, he's 6 games into his tenure and he's playing a shitload of rookies with first-time coordinators. On a side note, Belichick is a fucking prick. keep throwing CSer, you're not making the playoffs either.
Eh, I disagree. To each his own. I have my beliefs and don't think firing Saleh after 6 games is logical nor a good move.
Saleh has 7 kids ..you think he doesn't like collecting that check?? Cashing checks is easy ..Coaching ? lmao
Last year's crappy team was playing better by the end of the season. You never know what might happen.
We have more talent than last year yet we're worse. Who is that on if not coaching? And again, we had a horrible coach in Gase. We've somehow managed to downgrade even with more talent on the roster. Saleh has to go.
