Talent wise, Yes. Position wise, No. Also Trent Richardson is an absolute no brainier at 16, I dont care who we have at running back
strange that he updated the mock yesterday, yet still has Philly taking Kuechly after trading for Demeco Ryans, nor does he mention the Tebow trade and Landry signing.
ESPECIALLY now that we have Tebow. We should focus on being a running team. Schilens gives us one deep threat. We need one other deep threat to throw on the depth chart.
good thing you're not the GM... I don't care who's on the board at 16 (barring huge surprises obviously), if Richardson is there and we don't take him it will be a failure. Our 3 running backs combined might not put up the stats Richardson is capable of someday.
I like the Schilens move but I don't think he's the deep threat we need. Personally I think he falls into "the other deep threat to throw on the depth chart" category, and that we have yet to address our need for a true #2. Chaz has a ton of upside, but you can't count on him to be any better than Plax was last year.
I doubt Tebow has anything to do with if we pick him or not, I still thought he should have been the pick a month ago if he was available
