Inherited a 9 win team. Three seasons later, nine wins (hopefully). Not pushing him under the bus, but the results on the field aren't super spectacular.

What does this have to do with Mark Sanchez?

Ewbank has a ring. Parcells got as far as RR has.

    1) Ewbank (because he won a SB)

    2) RR (4 playoff wins in 2 years)

    3) Parcells (took over a joke franchise and made them something again)

Of the coaches I've seen I'd say Parcells 1st, and Rex 2nd. I think Parcells had a much better group of assistant coaches, but that is to his credit.

He certainly gets the most out of his defense, while Revis was good before Rex got here he turned into a superhuman after Rex got here. To think Rex had nothing to do with that is foolish.

Parcells has to be ahead of Rex if you ask me. Without Parcells, no way the Jets are close to relevant today. He took over a joke and took them to an AFC Title Game. People say Rex changed the Jets culture, its Parcells who did. The Jets were used to winning before Rex got here. Mangini got fired for going 9-7.

Oh enough with the relevance nonsense already. The Jets are as relevant now as they always been. The way they play has the same affect on them and the rest of the league as it always has.

I hate to be the grammar/spelling police, but wtf is "probally?" The word is "probably." If you are going to post 50 times a day, at least type in English. Don't you have spell check......or an education??????

I think he does a superb job of spelling. If I rolled my face around on the keyboard like that, it would just be a bunch of random characters.

Parcells quit on the Jets and left them in a financial and leadership shambles when they needed him to stay. He quit on the franchise before finishing the job as promised, then went on to coach and remain in the game with multiple other franchises. I'll never forgive him for that.
