http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap30...assistant-puts-spence-through-pro-day-workout "Representatives from 28 NFL teams -- includingWashington Redskins director of college scouting Scott Campbell, Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive line coach Jay Hayesand New York Jets senior director of college scouting Rex Hogan -- were present for Eastern Kentucky's pro day on Friday." http://walterfootball.com/proday.php#KV5vq6QhJZWiDkO0.99 "I'm told Noah Spence just did defensive line drills today, and no linebacker drills were requested by the teams on hand. I'm told it was a huge crowd today. The New York Jets had almost a half dozen people on hand."
4 scouts to Oklahoma State's Pro Day and 3 to Auburn's Pro Day. There must be multiple players on each team in which the Jets have interest. According to JetsWire, OT Prospect Shonn Coleman didn't participate in drills but the other players at Auburn the Jets may have traveled to see are: Duke Williams, WR Blake Countess, CB Peyton Barber, RB
According to JetsWire, the Jets scouts at Northern Arizona's Pro Day were looking at the kicker, Ryan Hawkins, who is also a punter.
The New York Jets, San Francisco 49ers and Cincinnati Bengals (who sent their receivers coach) were just a few of the teams on hand to watch receiver Keyarris Garrett work out. Garrett measured slightly under 6-3 1/2 and 221 pounds, then tested in the vertical jump, where he improved to 38 inches (36.5 inches at combine). Position work is still going on, but there's a definite buzz building around Garrett, who entered the season graded as a street free agent. Consider this: After a record-breaking senior season (96 recptions, 1,588 yards, 8 TDs) Garrett ran 4.53s in the 40 at the combine, quelling concerns about his speed. He then had a terrific positional workout. Scouts also love the fact the big-bodied receiver comes with 34 inch arms. Garrett already has visits set up with the Indianapolis Colts, New England Patriots and Carolina Panthers. Read more at http://walterfootball.com/proday.php#5lwvyU55l2TKZ1iM.99
