Sunday: Rain likely. Cloudy, with a high near 67. East wind between 6 and 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible. As the day gets closer..the chances are increasing for a very rainy Sunday. What started out as showers has changed to a possible mini fall Noreaster coming up the coast or directly over us. Two schools of thought with this. 1. favors receivers and causes cb's trouble. 2. Hurts qb's. I guess the bottom line is that you rarely...very rarely..see shootouts in bad weather...so I think I agree with you mparty. Reverse thinking would say you better have a good running game though...so who knows.
I disagree with the forecast. The models forecasting this are in opposition. One favors rain and the other does not favor nearly as much rain. I think there may be a shower Saturday night. I think Sunday will have a slight chance of a shower, but no prolonged rain event. I also think the bulk of any shower activity will be gone come gametime.
<sarcasm on> And we all know that hurricane hornets weather reports are always correct... <sarcasm off> j/k, I hope you are right...
Do you think Eric Mangini put the sprinkler system on inside the dome when he heard there was a chance of rain??????
What kind of a Jet fan are you???? Have you not heard of the "jet" sprinkler system Eric Mangini had installed inside the bubble to replicate rain on a turf field for practice????
People add words when they want things to sound more important than they really are. "Boarding process." Sounds important; it isn't. It's just a bunch of people getting on an airplane! People like to sound important. Weathermen on television talk about "shower activity". Sounds more important than "showers." I even heard one guy on CNN talk about a "rain event". I swear to God, he said, "Louisiana is expecting a rain event." And I thought, "Holy shit, I hope I can get tickets to that!"
