Jets 0 penalties for 0 yards. plus the Jets could have caught Dallas in at least 3 more offsides penalties as the kept jumping before the snap.
That one is impressive. 246-0-1 or about 16 straight years worth of games where they didn't blow a 4th quarter lead.
That's probably that new ESPN shit. His QBR was 88.7 or something. Here, it's in here. http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/S/SancMa00.htm
This is a huge stat. These are the kinds of things you praise the coaching staff for having a tightly disciplined team.
what was that other insane stat the cowboys having over 200 wins and 0 losses when leading by 14+ in the 4th.
I was literally yelling at my TV. Mark hard counted about 10 times and made them jump offsides. A few times Ware even touched Hunter or Brick. Str8 no calls! WTF?
The stats that matter are 3rd down passing efficiency, INT%, Yds per attempt and Red Zone passing efficiency.
Most stats in football suck. Football often isn't about how many times you do something like baseball is, football is more about when you do it. I did notice few penalties in the game overall and none on us, it's nice to have a good coach.
A good example of this is most yards passing in a game. Everyone thinks the more yards you pass for means you had a great game. In 2010 there were 11 games where a QB threw for 400 or more yards. In 8 of those 11 games the team whose QB threw for 400+ yds lost the game.
Wow...that's intersting. Didn't know that. Does anybody know the last time the Jets were not penalized in a game before last night? I know a few years ago I saw a stat that the last time the Jets were not penalized was in 1973 (The OJ game) but I thought more recently they had a game without penalties.........
