Worried about Williams, Pryor, Harris, Ivory and Decker in particular. Get well soon and stay healthy. Welcome back Sheldon, now take this pass rush to a new level. Can't wait for the next game. But I can sleep soundly knowing that unlike years past we will be more than ready and prepared to give it 1000% after the buy week.
Preliminary reports are that they all seem okay. Powell is hurt also with a groin. Get healthy, and Sheldon back after the bye. Get D. Smith goin' too. Worried about Sheldon tho....Hopefully we dodge a bullet there. Pun intended. TB gets to be more diverse with the fronts...on top of Sheldon's raw talent
What's to worry about with Decker and Ivory? They played through, they'll be fine. Probably banged up but they should be at 100% after the BYE. Same with Harris and Pryor. Pryor just clashed knees with somebody, it's nothing hopefully, just pain. Harris at worst has a sprained knee IMO. He wasn't even limping when he walked off.
"It's just a bruise," Pryor said. "Nothing more than that. I'm pretty sure I'll be good." Bowles said Harris "should be OK." Like Pryor, he is an important player on the Jets' defense, not easily replaced. Leonard Williams' sprained ankle doesn't seem like a major thing, but remember, the Jets on Monday are scheduled to get defensive end Sheldon Richardson back from a four-game marijuana suspension. Williams has been starting in his place. Bowles said he's "not sure yet" about the severity of Powell's groin ailment. http://www.nj.com/jets/index.ssf/2015/10/david_harris_calvin_pryor_leonard_williams_bilal_p.html
With the retardo NFL scheduling I'm surprised we don't play the Patz* on Thursday this week and then have a bye.
With the D and weapons surrounding RF we can be contending every game Bowles would be crazy not to keep this setup going We play another NFC team after the bye . Should be a good test for us considering the Eagles mess Mac will shore up the lnjured with some clever back up plan
Please be okay gentlemen. Loved seeing the players kneeling near Leonard...People know he is a great talent
Leonard? I like the kid and I think he's going to be very good, but he's far from a monster. He's been subpar at best so far this season. Rotating in and out now that Richardson is back will do wonders for him. Leonard himself said his conditioning was shit, as did Bowles. Giving him a breather every now and then is ideal, and that's what he'll have.
The anti-Williams crowd was pretty intense. You'd have to dig for those posts now. I'm sure if a poll was created 90% or 100% of posters would say they supported that pick on draft day.
