does anyone have any hints and tips on how to improve the speed of an iPhone? There's a bunch of jokes out there about how when Apple releases new phones, the older ones start to crap out. Figures that I have almost completely paid off my $700 iPhone 6 and it's starting to slow down. I have a 64GB phone with about 40GB of open space so I don't think it's too crowded with crap. Wondering if there's anyway to improve its speed. Instagram videos are not loading properly, and the overall speed of my phone has decreased. I don't want to upgrade. It's the same damn thing.
When you do an update of the IOS, it may require more power from the memory and processor to functional smoothly. This is why when new phones come out, typically with an updated OS, your older phone installs the update it has the chance of effecting its overall performance. I don't think there is a way to roll back, if it gets to bad you can reset it back to factory and back all your data up.
