What if the Jets overlook them, looking ahead to the Pats and Bears? Is anyone else worried about this?

I really think the bye week takes this out of the classic trap game category

The only reason I doubt this happens is because the bye is coming up, which gives the Jets plenty of time to look ahead to the Pats... and there is no reason to look ahead to the Bears, as beating the Pats will get us into the playoffs, while beating the Bears, although nice, may not necessarily do that.

Also remember too that Herm is no longer here... but I see where you're coming from.

We should be worried about every game. The Jets are not a top tier team yet. We may be on our way, but it will take a few years to get that respect and mind set. There's no team that looks at there schedule and pencils the Jets in as a definite loss.

I think this team knows it has many faults and shouldn't overlook anyone....so i'm not worried abouot that....

    I mean, they're underdogs to a 1-5 team, that says a lot

Any game on the road can turn into a trap pretty quickly. Look at what happened to Philly and Jacksonville last week as prime examples.

I'm guessing that if the Jets can score in the first quarter next week they'll coast to a win, and if they can't we'll be biting our nails in the 4th quarter.

I'm not so much worried about us looking past the Browns as I am the Browns, being pissed they got their OC fired (I know he resigned) and having them open up the play book on us. Hey, man they got nothing to lose at this point.

I just heard a report on the FAN, where Mangini told the press that he's not looking at the 1-5 record, just the game film which shows him the Browns are "a pretty good football team."

HackettStillSux I watched them last week (only 2nd half) and they were truly horrible. Denver never really got started , but that was down to them and not the Browns.
Honestley if we get beat by them I will wear a hole in my head where I will have been scratching it.

No one on the Browns offense scares me, except maybe Winslow.

If the Jets give up 24-38 points to them, I will be upset.

Their defense is not good and the Jets should score 24-38.

So I am saying the Jets should win around 31-17.

Need to prove you are better than others.

Coasting is something the jets will never do, at least for this year.

We could be up 21 in the 4th quarter, and I would fully expect 2 browns td's before it is all said n done.

We are not a great team, but we are lucky enough to benefit from good coaching and the healthy return of our field general.

I was worried about this game when the season started because I thought Cleveland would be an improved team, but so far, they seem to be about the same as last year. McGinnest has had little or no effect on the team. I expect a Jets win and while no one is penciling the Jets in as a loss, I am penciling in the Browns as a Win.
