i'm also calling out raider joe, and all those dolphin fans that scrowlge to tgg. if we lose any of those two games, i will be the first one to come here and eat some crow. :finssuck: :raiders:
Like the optimism but honestly and i hate to say this...without jenkins how the FUCK do we beat the dolphins. I for one think the season is over lol. But if we go to the bye 5-3...you know there is cause for optimism.
A win against Miami has gone from a slam dunk win to a serious upset (if the Jets win) in a matter of 2 weeks. We'll really get to see what Ryan and the Jets are made of in the next few weeks. With Jenkins gone for the season and the team reeling, there's a real good chance the team could quit on him. Especially if Sanchez keeps throwing games away, things could get ugly fast.
No it hasn't. I know losing Jenkins sucks, but give Rex a chance. 1 guy and 1 game does not define our season. Have some faith!!
I've never understood this issuance of guarantees on fan message boards. When Namath made his famous guarantee, it meant something because he was on the team. This, too, is a meaningful guarantee. More meaningful than Namath's, really, because Namath didn't run the ball or block or play defense in Super Bowl III. This is nuts. Did our secondary suddenly get good because Jenkins is out? Has Braylon Edwards been cut? Is Chad Henne never going to have a bad game?
ronnie brown and williams are gonna run right through us all day long..all day long. First Oaktown though huh....1-1 over the next 2
waste of mental energy............im going to the movies with my daughter...refuse to watch the meltdown
You contradict yourself in your own argument..."did our secondary suddenly get good..." seems like a knock on the Jets Then you say the stuff about Braylon and Henne like a plus for the Jets and knock on the Dolpins... way to go.
the only thing that's guaranteed the rest of the way is that the Jets actually have to show up and play the games. Anything else is gravy. I just hope Ryan can get these guys to focus more on the field. Win in Oakland? Nothing in the last 3 weeks OR their last several trips out there indicates anything but another loss on the books for Von Ryan's Express.
