..............do me a favor and make some friggin noise! I don't have the privelage of going to the games, but I get depressed seeing so many empty seats at kickoff and very little noise during a game. You never hear the noise decibels like you hear in Buffalo. Get friggin loud!! Thanks.

I'm going, I always make noise. I'm not always inside for the kickoff but when I get there I know what to do.

That's because we're tailgaters. Plus I park really far and the construction seems to have made the walk in more crowded and difficult. I'm usually close, but not in the seats by kickoff.

Yea I'm not sure how the attendance at kickoff has become the measurement for a good fan base. I would say it's much more those who hang around until the 4th quarter still screaming at every 3rd down on D even if the team is down 14 or up 14.

I think that should be the measurement as opposed to those who come for kickoff and leave at the half. JMO

It was very noisy at the start of the Chiefs game. Once the Jets started their routine of shooting themselves in the foot it got quiet.

No disrespect to the original poster but, I love when people who do not go to the game tell people that are going to the game how to act.

Believe me, I guarantee that people on this board are great fans. It is the 30,000 nomads each Sunday that leave a lot to be desired.

Last game against KC a huge amount of People left after the Favre Pick 6. They were people from my section that I have never seen nor think I will ever see again.

I rather have 50,000 pure Jet Fans and 30,000 empty seats.

If the Jets play well, there will be plenty of noise.

I agree. By the time I get the kids where they have to go and everything together, get out there and cook out, I struggle to get inside for the kickoff. To me the "good" fans are the ones who were out there Week 17 last year in the cold rain at 3-12 to see us play the Chiefs in a game that both teams were better off losing. I can start naming everyone who was there if I have to, it wouldn't take long.

I sat right by Fireman Ed against Kansas City last Sunday, so you knew my section and those surrounding were loud.

I have another favor to ask. If you are going to the game and have a hot girlfriend, make sure she flashes her boobs when the cameras are pointed in your area.

exactly. the tailgaters are the most hardcore fans for the most part anyway. and they always stay till the end and tailgate again after the game for like an hour or so so they dont have to sit in traffic. these guys are the reason the place gets loud, not the d-bag that goes in before kickoff (unless he is showing his kids what warmups are like or something. thats totally understandable) and leaves by halftime to beat the traffic. that guy sucks ass. plus, you know hes probably no where near drunk enough to bring anything serious to the atmosphere.
