We still have Washington, Pittsburgh, at Dallas, at New England and at Tennessee.

Buffalo, Miami, Cleveland and Kansas City could all be winnable games, although I could see us losing ALL of them.

How many games do you see us realistically winning?

    I say 4-12.

Buffalo, Giants, and Eagles were all three winnable games for us...

    I see us going 3-13 or 4-12

If Clemens plays things may go differently. Even with Chad we were a play or two from winning all three of the last games. What it comes down to is Chad can no longer lead us down the field to win a game. If we can get that from Clemens then we will pull out some 'upsets'

Washington hasn't been challenged yet. Cincy looks pretty bad. Tennessee lost Vince Young today and lost to Tampa Bay. Dallas has a bad defense that an our offense could exploit if KC gets a chance.

Pitt and NE are sure losses. The rest of the games are in the same category as the last 3 games for us. We SHOULD/COULD have won all of them, but we shot ourselves in the foot (both the players and coaches)

With Clemens I say we go 9-1 the rest of the way because he will shot that ball all over the field, giving room for TJ.
With Pennington I say we go 1-9 only winning that Miami or Buffalo game. Chad will throw for the all time record for INTs and record the longest time the ball stays in the air on a pass.

You really see us going 9-1 with Clemens?

I don't know if I would aim that high, maybe 7-3 or 6-4 with him.

I mean he still doesn't have much experience, and what pisses me off is he could be GETTING IT this year, and next year we would be set.

Defense has played better in recent weeks. If Clemens finally gets the freakin call we could finish at 5-11 or 6-10. If Chad continues to play 3-13 or 4-12 would be expected.

The most frustrating thing about this season is that all of our losses with the exception of NE were so winnable, it's laughable. Here, take the game, Jets. Nah, that's OK, you guys can have it. Hell, we don't feel like tackling or scoring, so you go right ahead.

I still can't string together a coherent written opinion, so I won't try. Give me a couple of days. OK, a couple of years. I'm smelling shades of '05, but something about it still isn't as stinky. I can't quantify that at 2:35 in the a.m. except to say that I went into this season without high expectations to speak of. Maybe that's why I'm not as bent as I would ordinarily be. Mad? Yep. Homicidal? Surprisingly, no.

EDIT: And here's the other thing about the D that's been driving me crazy. They look like they understand LESS than last year. Is it me, or do they look confused and semi-retarded every time they line up? Or like they don't know HOW to line up? It's almost like they're playing without instinct with the exception of Revis (today), Harris (sometimes), and Rhodes. Dyson should be shot like a lame horse.

At this point, I can't say that I wouldn't be happy with a Top 5 pick.

Clemens isn't going to help our defensive problems. If he goes in it's just going to be a learning experience with our o sitting on the sidelines and the opposing team sending runs up the gut all game. I think the offense will be out there for maybe 1/5 of the snaps against a hard running team, of which we have a few comming up.

We all know whats going to happen we will be 1-13 going into last two games ideally placed for no1 pick , which would allow us to pick up picks by tradig down HOWEVER the SOJ will win the last two games in great style fucking this plan up completely.

This season is going to get far far uglier

I see us going one win more then it would take to get a true franchise player in next year's draft. Just like we did in '05. We'll let Miami get their next Marino or something instead.

I hope you're reason is because their starters will be resting up for the playoffs.

Because thats the only shot we have to beat them.

37 years of this. The last thing we need now is a win. Let's hope the draft gods are nice to us and next year is another story.
