If we sign one more potential starter from the Free Agent pool what position should be our highest priority?

I'm torn between a RT and CB. Columbo from Dallas would be great but are there other credible starters available?

    Whats out there at CB?

Locking up a legit starter in either of these spots will make the draft very interesting. Whats your opinion?

Sign a RT, draft a CB.

I'd like to see an OLB signed. I think we can play with what we've got at CB and RT (if weget desperate it looks like we'll be able to bring back Clement), but I'd like to get someone in that helps us avoid being forced to take a OLB in the draft. (Frankly, I'm still hoping Carriker falls to us)

Well we can draft a bunch of LB's but who is going to keep the other teams O-line off of them?

The highest priority is D-line and the Right side of the O-line and an eventual replacement for Kendall. You win in the trenches.

We're missing a big fat dude in the middle of the defensive line.

I am pretty sure our defensive line is set for next season. They have Ellis as a sure thing on one end, and then it was whether they wanted Robertson as a DE or a NT. They were either gonna sign a NT or a DE. They signed Kenyon Coleman, a DE. Coleman is NOT for depth, he is here as a starter. Our D-Line is SET: Ellis - Robertson - Coleman. We are not signing any more players there, or at least not starters.

sign a roadgrader at OG. I would suggest COZY COLEMAN! DEFENSE WINS CHAMPIONSHIPS and we can draft what we need. Why get a TJ without an OL that can open holes for him? We need a RT and a OG with size and strength!

I think Bowen will be signed soon, just by everything I have been reading.

And RT is the next priority. Some people here are in love with Clement, but I was not impressed in the least. He is old, and has lost a step. Plus our run game sucked last year, and that has more to do with the blocking than it did the RBs. And when the run blocking is that bad, you look to the RT and guards first. So I would like to see Columbo signed, he is young and has shown A LOT of potential. The Cowboys seemed to like him.

Expect the Jets to sign a QB soon for depth. I would like to see Rattay signed.

Are there any quality CB's left in the FA market that might be had for a less than insane price?

Colombo is the guy that needs to be signed. Considering the small offer Dallas made to him, I hope the Jets will offer a little more and sign him.

I'm also thinking this is the way to go. This would also give us one less position to have to shop for in the draft. Man, Tangini is really working to shore up this team.

RT, who are we going to find at CB in free agency that will be an upgrade over what we have?

I say sign a sign a RT like Columbo and then get a cb in the draft cause its more likely we get a better player at that position at either the 1st round or second round.Darelle Revis,Chris Houston,Marcus McCaueley are posiibilties at 25 and Daymeion Hughes at either one of are 2nd round picks.

Even if we sign Columbo I'd still like us to draft a solid RT, But more importantly draft some young defenders who run and tackle well CB,OLB'S

I'd say RT (Columbo), because the CB depth is great in this draft.

Houston, Revis, Ross, or McCauly could all be there with our 1st rounder, and those guys can be just as good next year as the best available FA corner (likely Harper) would be. I also think we need pass rushing LB, but guys like Woodley or maybe Moses could be there in the 2nd, while the CBs available at our 2nd round pick likely won't be better than what we have now.

RT!!! Protecting Chad is the number one priority ALWAYS. We're only as good as he's healthy.
On that note, Clement did a decent enough job last year considering Chad played 17 games. I'm just not sure he can open the holes for the running game.

I am a little concerned that Colombo is only an 82 in Madden

Seriously though I would like to sign Colombo and then draft Blalock in the first to play G for us. Then get a CB somewhere else on day 1. Our line would be set for years to come.
