Vince Young. He adds an extra dimension to the offense and isn't heavily overrated. Cutler doesn't even step up in the pocket. While that displays his good arm strength, that also means he's going to take hits if he doesn't move up AND that his touch isn't as good. I don't like Young's throwing motion or his lob passes, but I'm sure he can be developed.
Be careful..........I could give you a list of plenty of qb's that won national championships and flopped in the NFL...if they even made it! Its all a projection, withs odds of course, but no one has proven themselves. By the way, Cutler will make & be a better NFL qb. Young might even catch one af his passes one day.
Vince Young. Screw the Wonderlic... this guy only needs to know one thing and he does know it well - football.
I would have to take Vince Young without hesitation over Jay Cutler with the JETS first pick. The funny thing is if we do, Jay Cutler who will be celebrating his birthday on draft day will have to look for some other team to give him a birthday present.
I would say you're getting good value with either Young or Cutler at 4. Both are near-locks to be top 10 picks.
So what? Let some other team reach. Neither one is worth a top-5 pick. Just because a guy is going to get drafted high doesn't mean he is worth it.
Actually, the majority voted to draft a QB. The poll choice with the most votes was "don't draft a QB"
