Say what you want about Mark. He has to tools, and he can make the throws. I have always thought he was immature which made him an ineffective leader in my eyes. I thought this was because he came out early and was young however, 4 years later not much has changed in this department. He pouts on the field, he talks about 'bad luck' in his post game interviews and you never seems him command his receivers... among other things. So.....what do you think if Bellicheck could get this rotten paws on him? Could he build a system that would work for Mark? Could he teach him leadership and personal responsibility? Could he make Mark the next winning leader of the dark side? Unfortunately, I think the answer is yes.
He would make a pro bowl. His best 2 games would be against the Jets. We don't have the right people to develop a QB
I think Bellichick is a very good coach. But I also think he also owes his success to Brady. Please don't mistake Brady's leadership skills with Mark Here is an anectode
For what? If I am running Pats, I might take Sanchez and his salary if Jets offered another 2-3 1st round picks to go along with him. Remember, Nacho's salary is fully guaranteed through NEXT season. 2~3 1st round picks for 14M of wasted cap space is NOT much to ask.
What would happen? Nothing, he'd sit behind Brady for three or four years, then by the time he's ready to play for them (or leave as a FA before then) Billy Boy'll retire anyway.
I would imagine he would play a lot better being they actually have some skill players with talent. It's kind of hard to judge his real ability when the parts around him are constantly changing.
Normally that would be a joke but they hate Romo in Texas a lot. If Sanchez didn't have such a ridiculous contract it might be possible but not as it is now.
Romo does many things Sanchez does not do - one of which is staying on his feet, keeping the play alive and making things happen. Sanchez folds like a cheap tent even with the slightest little push to the shoulder pad. So you want THAT over Romo? You make the call.
BUT look at all that talent Dallas has...Not to mention Gruden thinks Romo is John Wayne...JOHN WAYNE
I certainly don't think that Sanchez is a horrible NFL QB. He has had some great games as a pro. However I don't think that if Sanchez was a QB for BB, it would be a long and fruitful collaboration. Sanchez simply does NOT make enough consistently good decisions to be BB's QB. For BB decision making is a bigger factor than physical talent in a QB. That wny Kevin OConnell couldn't beat out Bryan Hoyer who was a rookie UDFA at the time for Brady's back up, despite being a superior athlete with a much better arm. Its all about making accurate throws to the right receivers, and Mark (who has certainly had his moments) just doesn't do it enough or consistently. Most people aren't aware that BB was Brady's QB coach for 3 of the most important years of his development (2001-4). So BB DOES have some skills there. But I don;t think even he can fix what ails Mark, at least to to the level where he'd be willing to trust him with the ship. No Mark is a tease. He'll show you enough of a good time to keep you asking him out on dates, but he's NOT the guy you want Marry. I think the Jets have ruined any chance he had of a solid development I think the fact the Jets haven't even tried to bring in some WR help has been criminal. The FO has already given up on this season and are throwing Sanchez under the bus. If he was smart he'd get up slowly after a big hit with Santonio disease. like some kind of concussion. It would be the best thing for his health and future career prospects I got to tell you guys, but I've never seen a 2-2 team look and act more like a 0-9 team.
If Sanchez went to the Patriots he would start talking with an accent that sounds like a retard with a mouth full of dicks. He'd also turn into a smug dickface and win a few championships as there backup QB/WR/DB. BB would be hailed as a genius for using him in multiple roles.
I don't think Belichick would ever want a player like Sanchez. There are only a few positions where Belichick will sacrifice mental make-up for talent, and QB isn't one of them. He wants guys that are tough, smart, and relentless. Sanchez is a talented underachiever that sulks when things get ugly.
They would pad his stats against a crappy defense and then trade him back to us for our first round pick.
