This is another guy who Rex knows, and was the starter before he got hurt. He got assigned a low tender, which would mean it would only take a 5th to sign him. Now, obviously we don't have a 5th, but i think that the jets would give a 4th, the question is, Can he be a solid safety for this team? Thoughts?
I think speculating on a player not even rumored to be on the Jets radar is pointless and a waste of time.
Dawan Landry won't be leaving Baltimore and there's no doubt about that. He's the main reason why the Ravens let Leohnard go. They think he'll be healthy and effective.
not sure if you're being sarcastic but... his brother laron landry plays safety for the skins... and is much better in my opinion
No idea why we haven't inquired about S Sean Jones. I don't have the inside scoop on him but he has put up big tackle and INT numbers in the past (I know those can be decieving); but he has a nose for the ball. I'd rather have Jones than Leonhard.
Not a snowball's chance in hell the Ravens are going part with him. Why else do you think they would just let Leonhard waltz right out the front door?
Why would the Ravens let Leonhard visit other teams, and then subsequently allow Landry to follow suit? Leonhard wasn't offered a legitimate deal because they obviously prefer Landry. I'm not sure where you got that from, but it's almost certainly incorrect.
Landry was always the starter and will be again in '09. The only reason anybody even knows Leonhard's name is because he filled in for 13 games.
