There is no way we let either of them go right?

If Winston/Mariota go 1 and 2 and Jags go with Fowler. My gut tells me Oakland and Washington may go WR back to back.

Leonard Williams cannot be passed am I correct? He is that talented as BPA?

Williams won't be here at 6. If he is, I bet we trade down.

With Mo Wilk, Richardson and Williams (along with Damon and Coples), I'm not quite sure how we give everyone enough playing time to make the pick for Williams worth it.

I hope Williams goes before 6th so it's not an issue an means someone else will fall to us. If he's available I would rather trade down than select him. I know he's a beast but barring trading one of Wilkerson or Richardson it's too much emphasis and future cap hit on DL when we have so many other glaring needs. Now if we picked up Williams and trading Wilkerson for another first round pick and change it might be worth it as we basically swap Wilkerson for Willams and some cap room plus a pick that we could use towards an OLB or OL depending on where we are trading to.

But, ultimately, I think it's a moot point as he'll likely be gone.

I'm not interested in Williams unless Wilkerson is traded

Have to take him if they can't trade out. Luckily he is good enough that someone will come up for him. It won't be a seller's market because teams know we don't want to take another dl

I think Williams is extremely over-rated. I don't want anything to do with him, he would be excellent trade bait though.

We look to trade back and demand a kings ransom.

With the Sons we will have too much money invested at DT.. If he's there we need to trade back!

we don't take him. there is actually 0 place we could play him. it's not even like he'd get limited time, like he just wouldn't play with our set of players

With Wilk's potential contract demands, don't be surprised if Williams does get drafted.

No defense at 6..offense or trade down (wishful thinking).

Draft the player, not the position.

Drafting for need is the path to mediocrity.

Drafting a player that you have zero need for when you have huge holes at other positions is the path to lunacy AND mediocrity. Need has to be taken into consideration. We have brains with which to think and reason in individual situations so that we don't have to blindly follow some dictum or philosophy.

Lol at the logic behind drafting Williams. Makes no sense.

If the consensus best player (or close to) in the draft falls to 6, I'm trading back and recouping the picks that we lost in those trades this year. I'd try and grab Devante Parker in that situation.

If Winston and Mariota are gone (and assuming we don't trade up for either), I am 100% on board with trading back.

Just take Collins (LSU - OT) at 6 and be done with it.

I don't think it's a good idea to trade down for him.
