I know most think we have time to trade Abraham, but technically we have until next Friday for the tender to be signed. Its just not worth it! Lets get this guy outta here and move on like with our offseason like both Seattle and Atlanta. By not trading him, we are really held up from making a splash in FA because of his salary of 8.3 or 8.7 that will go against our cap starting next week, I think. If we decide not to trade him then we're looking at another TO debarcle and we just don't need that crap and our team doesn't desere that cancer in the locker room just so the new GM can prove a point. If you don't believe me just ask the Philly fans. They got absolutely nothing for TO! The one lone difference between our issues is that they didn't have to pay him the heavy bonuse because of his relatively low salary. That's not the case with Abe. We will have to swallow $8 million plus for a part-time player and a locker room cancer. And make no mistake, Abe will stay in NY and make our team environment a living hell. Consequently, the GM has to only deal with him now, but the team will have to cope with this crap for several months. Its just not fair. By the way, Atlanta will not give us their 1st rd pick unless we switch 1st rds picks and we get their 2nd. Also, if Seattle signs Peterson then we are really screwed. And while we might toughen up and keep Abraham to prove a point, we will also end with another TO circus not to include the following: 1- A part-time player being paid $8mil 2- $ 8mil against the cap when we could sign at least 2 or 3 other players 3- Next year we CAN NOT slap the tag and Abe walks away. We get ABSOLUTELY NOTHING in return. If this FO is trying make statement then need to get rid of Abraham, because it could smack us dead in the face in 2007 and we will look like the idiots.
