tell me something if chad comes back and we get schaeffer from the falcons could our pick be used on a dt in the first, especially for a 3-4 . I don't care how good the linebackers are if you can't keep the blockers of em they are nullified just a thought what do you think...?

I will be projecting vomit if we draft a DT in Round one at 4...not really, but I will be very dissapointed.

    Get a QB!

Kind of like I'll vomit if we pick Cutler. How old is Schaeffer anyways. Also, I do not see us having the right personel to run the 3-4 next year. We just don't have the right downlineman for the system to work well and excell. To do so we would need to go way out of our way in the draft IMO.

Our best defensive player may be too small to play in the 3-4 as well

There is no way we will draft a D-Lineman with the 4th. We would never do that. Oh wait, we did...

    Buh Bye Bradway!!!

It would certainly give us plenty of options come draft day... I'd actually hope for Mario Williams to replace Abe in that situation

Hmm, I'm wondering if Lawson is a possibility if we pick up a first from Denver. I watched him play some this year and was extremely impressed. I think he'll go before the 29th pick though.

Schaeffer is 26 with a number of solid starts under his belt.

I would imagine that the Jets will at least try and trade Robertson if they don't think he will work in the 3-4.

If we draft a QB this year, uuuuuuuughhhhhh

Maybe whitehurst or jacobs on day 2, that's it

You rebuild around Brady Quinn, because that's what Weis was able to do with a crap program and crap defense at ND this past year

no complaints here. hes probably the only defensive player i would like to see us take, whoever gets him will be damn lucky, the guys a beast. imagine vilma, barton, and hawk next to each other, we would have possibly the best linebacking corps in the leagie for the next 5+ years.

i know we have a TON of holes on offense, but its hard to pass up the BPA who will be hawk who can solidify the defense for years to come.

What are the odds that you are going to be in the exact position next year to pick any player you would want! This year there are three top QB prospects in the top 4. This is the year we draft the QB!

If we get Kevin Schaffer, I don't see how we can pass up a franchise QB such as Jay Cutler.

thats because Culter isn't a franchise QB. He is just a Kyle Boller clone;)

If Chad plays more than 60 minutes 2 to 1 he needs at least 1 surgery in the off season.

I'd live to see Penny stay a jet. I heard Mel Kipper Jr. saying the Jets may get Pat Ramsey...ugh...resign Penny and see what he can do.
