Only Rex and Caldwell were the two head coaches to make it to the pro day. I wonder if we are considering trading up for Watkins if he slips a bit out of the top 5 or if we are actually scouting WR Martavis Bryant and CB Bashaud Breeland. Breeland could move to safety and may be had in the later rounds

Rex at Clemson to visit his Kid...LOL.

Not trading up for Watkins...only player worth considering is Brandon Thomas, OG.

I would LOVE for us to get Watkins, but it's going to cost way too much. We have to be able to find elite talent later in the draft. Hopefully with the new scouting team Idzik put together they can do just that.

I don't think he solely went to just see his kid...he could do that at any point this offseason. I forgot about Brandon Thomas but what are your thoughts on Breeland? Came out too early?

Watkins will likely be a top 5 pick, so I don't see us moving up that high (at least not now the Browns have a new head coach).

He won't make it past DET. Plus there is so many good receiver prospects, not worth trading up.

I was kidding!! Breeland is an OK prospect, wouldn't be a huge upgrade on a roster. Some teams are loooking to move him from CB to S.

Brandon Thomas and Bryant were probably the main players to evaluate. I think Thomas would be an excellent pick in rd 3.

I live in Columbus and I've heard the Jets will have representation tomorrow at OSU's pro day.

Rex shows up when the Jets are evaluating a defensive player. Breeland is probably who he wanted to see.

Breeland is a JAG, not worth the visit.

I see what you did there heh but I would definitely want Bryant except wouldn't draft him with our first three picks...maybe with our late 3rd or 4th. He dropped the only ball Boyd threw in his throwing session lol

Tyler Shatley was a really good RG for them and I am not sure why he's been so underrated. He's a quality player and may end up UDFA.

I highly doubt Watkins.. That would cost a boat load.. Love Watkins but we cant afford that kind of move in a deep draft!

Bryant would be a nice 6th rounder pick. He has all the tools..

All in all i think it's not a big deal Rex and co were there

Bryant is highly skilled. I think he goes in the second round.

Thomas has been moving up from the 6th round since the end of the season. Good solid OG prospect (not OT). Much better value in this year's 3rd round than Winters was last year.

Bryant is gonna be long gone by round 6. late second/mid-third IMO.

Could be.. I dont have him ranked as a 2nd rounder but anything can happen.

I see him as a 4th-6th rounder. At least that would be great value for him there.

Bryant is another Hill... Watched him a lot as I'm a rival fan. Stay away. Unless his stone hands have changed between the season and now. And Clemson would say the same minus the very end of last year he seemed to play a little better.
