John Carmack's crazy ass has done it again, all from his underground city full of C++ programming elves. I just downloaded the iPhone rail shooter version of RAGE and this thing is phenomenal. I cannot wait until the full version comes out. This game looks amazing in every possible aspect that sentence could mean. For a mobile phone/tablet/touch device-based game this looks like you're playing it through a 360 on a flatscreen at worst. As for the story, you're basically competing in a post-apocalyptic Running Man-style TV show with the ridiculous gladiators swapped out for mutants. I'm only through the first chapter of the game but I think I found my new favorite distraction for the Metro.
