If you have a wife that would let you do that, consider yourself lucky indeed. Mine won't even let me buy a Sanchez Jersey.
OMG HATE SPEECH Seriously, though, I wouldn't want that jersey. That nickname has been dying a slow death since it first came out. I would, however, get one that said Sanchize. It's too bad I ordered my jersey so quickly. I was just excited to have the hometown kid get drafted by my team and have a pipeline to the Jets.
I feel like I'm the only one who hates this nickname. "Dirty Sanchez" isn't great either but at least it has some staying power.
I don't like "Sanchise" because it reminds me of Steve Francis. I hate when teams force "positive" names onto their players. Seriously, think back on every nickname you've ever had: were they complimentary? I like Dirty. It's not fucking racist, it's funny. And a little ironic, when you think of the fact that Sanchez is this GQ football star with a polished game. I vote Dirty, lest we settle for a generic, New England-style nickname. (Mark Remarkable!!!)
I think it's an embarassing nickname and stupid. The guy who has the seasons behind me asked me a few times "Why do they keep saying Dirty Sanchez? What is that?" I told him, you don't wanna know (His wife was there). Then by the 3rd he couldn't take it anymore and said ok, you gotta tell me... He made the most Quizzical face you could imagine, almost like he got fingered  But seriously, it's actually a horrible name.
It's a juvenile nickname that has nothing to do with the guy or football, and certainly one he wouldn't be happy about. If the player wouldn't find it amusing, why try to propagate it?
i think of the same thing...and i hate it. i dont mind dirty though.....besides the obvious " sex move" meaning it has.... dirty also means very talented. so it has the humorous cognitions....as well as the talent definition. i like it
