I understand the desire to get a quality pass-rusher in the first round of this draft, but I'm hoping the Jets go the other way and concentrate on protecting our quarterback instead of destroying the opposition's.

I have always felt that the offensive line is the heart of a team and the weakness at RT was a dagger through the heart last season. If Sanchez suffers through another year like that in terms of pressures and hits we could suddenly find we need a new quarterback, which could mean going back to square one.

I'd like to see the Jets get Riley Reiff, even if it means a modest trade up, to secure the line. Hoping to pick up a veteran later in the year is too risky.

Just my opinion, and I reckon not many people will agree with me...

Not at simple as it sounds. He'd be a great pick but I don't see how he gets past the Cards.

Or just sit at 16 and take DeCastro or Glenn if they fall if you want an OL. Chances are, at least one of DeCastro, Glenn and Reiff will be there.
