All that talk this week about remembering last year's ass kicking. Everybody supposed to want payback because the Patriots ran up the score.. Even Saleh was supposed to be pissed... And has anyone noticed any fire from the Jets today? Any anger at all? The crowd has been a complete non-factor. MLF is calling the wrong game as he's determined to win with Zach's arm instead of the run game. All talk, nothing else...
I thought they were pretty fired up until the refs called back that pick 6. They all kind of slumped after that.
Maybe they should have just not said anything. They're not playing with any emotion. The crowd is dead. If you're gonna talk about payback, you'd better be able to do it. So far, it looks like all gas...
They have no control of this shit fanbase. I think the team would run through a wall of fire for Saleh.
Unfortunately today, that didn't translate into performance on the field. As the old saying goes.. " Don't let your mouth write a check your ass can't cash.."
I’m so confused about Zach. He actually looked great at times and terrible at others. That RTP called killed the defense. Even Saleh was not in control.
Not quite.. You can be pissed off about being pissed on. Neither applied to the Jets today. Kinda went thru the motions for the most part. No anger, no emotion, nothing.. All gas...
Defense played charmin soft basically the entire 2nd half. They clearly didn’t care about this game. What a bill of goods we were sold leading up to 1pm.
And so you're willing to dismiss the 75% of the time that Wilson looked like utter ass in favor of the 25% of the time he looked like he belonged? This is the NFL. You maybe get a 10% ass quotient before you are not good enough to play in the NFL. Really it is more like 5% but whatever.
There was way too much this week. I felt deep inside we were going to lose just because of how much talk of us dominating there was. That shit seeps into the locker room. How it unfolded still sucks.
Dude. We don’t have a run game without Hall. This team is more in the 8-8 category but so gotta be honest, the biggest goal this year should be getting Wilson improved. Sadly, it’s going backwards.
Well, all true, however, it was time for Wilson to show that he could be a driver rather than a passenger, something everyone was talking about all week. He shit the bed big time today even as the Jets D showed itself to be pretty stout in the 2H. Momentum of the game changed after the INT for TD was called back.
