you don't gain that type of burst later in your career. look at the highlights of his two touchdowns compared to highlights of past years hes a different player.

Or maybe he's just not sitting behind Chris Johnson and is being utilized in a better offense.

I was surprised we picked up CJ last year because I thought Powell had shown enough to be a backup.

as long as he doesn't get caught, I don't give two fucks...he does seem to have found some acceleration that I do not remember his showing in the past

So whats Ivory's excuse? He's had more burst this year than any year of his career too.

Fitzpatrick must be too. 25 Touchdowns, only 11 Interceptions? Something is up! Also, what is with the coaching? All of a sudden the Jets look good? Someone test Bowles!!!

Your avatar appears to be a picture of Dewayne Robertson, who could have used a few more PEDs, and a few less PB&Js.

Or maybe it's because Bilal Powell is usually the only player on the field with fresh legs. When he steps on that field, there are players on both sides of the ball that have grinded non-stop for months without a chance to recover.

Jets fans so unaccustomed to good offense we need to rationalize it somehow.

He does look a lot quicker since he got over the groin injury though.

BTW if he gets suspended, I'm blaming you for outing him. You snitch.

very true - which may explain their over aggressive behavior and maddening hits. It also is why they have so many injuries as well.
I wonder how many take amphetamines? The glaring eyes and non-stop talking during a game seems to be tell tale. Pain killers I also assume are rampant. It is the secret life of playing in the NFL. No one has gone after them and they certainly don't seem compelled to try and control it. It is assumed that this is what we want to see, so give the consumer their product.

Oh...and about Powell. Only on a Jets fan board will we get our own people bringing this up when one of our players are doing well. LOL, can't make it up.

Newsflash. Every other player on your team except the qb's and kickers are on PED's. Same goes for every NFL team. And I bet even some of the QB's and kickers are on the juice. You think these guys get so big and fast with some oatmeal and whey protein?

NFL just blames every PED issue an Adderall problem or something else completely bogus, but it's not the MLB so no one cares.

It maybe he shows a burst in the open field on pass catches. I dont really see it on handoff running plays. Maybe we just never seen it before because noone ever thought to make him a scat back pass catcher.
