I wasn't sure if it was him or not so I didn't say anything. I'm sure I'll run into him again as he lives in the same apartment complex as my girlfriend. Just thought I should share that with you all.
So you are going to start stalking Leon? (just kidding) I never manage to run into anyone noteworthy... not that I really want to living in New England.
I saw kerry rhodes the other day riding around in a range rover. I see the range rover all the time finally figured out it was him
My buddy is the doorman where Leon lives. In the past year I've gone to three Jets games as a "player's family/friend" guest of Leon Washington. He's one of the nicest, down to earth athletes I've ever met. He takes good care of the people around him. Really a class act. -X-
I ran into Brandon Jacobs the other day in the Woodbury Commons I said Congratulations on winning the SB didnt want to bother him for autograph.
I ran into Anthony Becht at Champps Restaurant & Bar in Tampa. He extended his hand to shake mine when a fork flew out of his hand and almost took my eye out. He apologized, dropped his beer and walked out the door. Nice guy.
Right before that we were all sitting at the table and Becht had a cork on his fork (so he wouldn't hurt himself, or others). He kept trying to take it off and when I gently asked him not to he was like, may I go to the bathroom? I was so pleased that he was behaving like an adult that I said sure and he just stared at me for a beat and then was like thank you. Real nice guy.
It was him. I knew I recognized him but didn't want to sound like a schmuck if I was wrong. The security guard confirmed my suspicions.
At the draft Joseph Addai was standing behind me, and last year I saw Braylan Edwards and got a picture
That story becomes "cool" once you tell us that Turley ripped off your hat and threw it into the ocean.
hines ward and mean joe green are gonna be staying at the hotel i cook for and my boss is trying to set it up so i can meet em
Hmmm noJets but in the past few years I've met Big Ben, Braylon Edwards, Harry Carson, Michael Irvin, Paul Horning, Ed Reed, Ed Hartwell, Steven Jackson and Anthony Munoz and a ton of Chargers Reed was the best, I asked him to sign my hat, I gave him my Jets hat and refused to sign it. He said "Wait I don't play for the Jets" I said "Oh yeah that's right Bryan Thomas" and he just started laughing. I'm actually friends with a guy that played on the Too Legit too Quit Falcons so I've gotten to meet a bunch of players from his era through him. It's pretty awesome as he gave me one of his old college game worn jerseys. Watching football with him on Sundays is pretty awesome too as he will tell me exactly what play is coming just by the formation or the way a player goes in motion. I know it's not football but an old boss of mine grew up idolizing Reggie Jackson so he finally got to meet him at some type of function and he went over to shake his hand and Reggie was sitting next to somebody else pretty famous but I don't remember who and Reggie turns to him and says "I hate doing these events because there's always some asshole that wants to shake my hand."
that's crazy that u see him all the time. the best i see is jason kapono at my golf course , and i hate basketball (he's a toronto raptor for all y'all)
