I watched 7-8 games of Finley last year because of the “Brady” hype and he actually looked very good. Good stature, great mechanics, accurate, smart, not a rocket arm. Saw him 4-5 times this year and I thought he took a step back. I don’t see him as a top of the line starter in the NFL.
I think the Jets stand to be asking for a more modest price if they trade down. For the Cardinals or 49ers, you're asking them to give up on taking Bosa or Allen which seem to be top pass rushers in the draft. Unless you want to pay a high price of multiple first rounders to guarantee Haskins or Murray, then the Jets look like the best trade partner to grab 1 of those two QBs for a reasonable cost.
Ahahahahahah Bucky Brooks says the Pats are one of 4 Teams searching for a QB Think they make a deal for our spot???
If there is truly a God and he cares about football it will be at least 50 years before the Pats find their next franchise QB. I'm terrified of them transitioning seamlessly to the next great star QB when Brady retires. Kinda like Favre > Rodgers or Manning > Luck.
One can only dream! Trading up from the 31/32 to the #6, would mean giving up an insane haul of picks, future picks, and likely a player as well (oline).
IMO as of now, two of the QB's should be top 10 (haskins and lock). Murray is still a wild card. not sure if any of them break the top 5 but there is still plenty of time and workouts left so we'll see. jets are in a good spot regardless.
Lock will need to fix a lot of things when he comes into the league. But hey, all it takes is 1 team.
In addition to the haul of picks, they would have to publicly admit to cheating by Brady and Belicheat while abdicating all their titles.
